After many delays, Vietnam International Tourism Fair - VITM Hanoi 2020 is expected to take place from November 18-21.
On September 15, Vietnam Tourism Association issued Official Letter No. 114 / CV-HHDLVN announcing the organization of Vietnam International Travel Fair - VITM Hanoi 2020 from November 18-21. The dispatch stated that, due to the complicated and unpredictable Covid-19 epidemic, the VITM Hanoi 2020 Fair had to delay the organization and wait for the right time. Up to now, after 13 days, Vietnam has stopped appearing new cases of infection in the community, a series of measures to prevent epidemics have been removed. The Covid-19 epidemic in Vietnam has been basically controlled.
The government has allowed mass events to be held, but rules must be followed to ensure the safety of event participants. In that context, the Organizing Committee decided the VITM Hanoi 2020 Fair to be held from November 18-21, 2020. The registered participating units continue to coordinate with the Organizing Committee to facilitate the preparation.
VITM Hanoi 2020 Fair will have a new theme: "Digital transformation to promote tourism development". At the fair, there will be the participation of technology development enterprises in tourism, the program to introduce new technologies for tourism businesses.
