The Sao Khue Award 2022

Sao Khue Award is the most reliable and prestigious assessment program of Vietnam in the field of software and IT services. First launched in 2003 by Vietnam Software & IT Services Association – VINASA, Sao Khue Award has become an annual program to filter and recognize excellent and reliable products/ IT services in Vietnam. The products/ services titled with Sao Khue Award offer outstanding quality and efficiency, thus, gaining the trust, reliability from the customers and enhancing the market competitiveness.

I. Introduction

Having been chaired and held for 18 years, Sao Khue has been awarded to hundreds of outstanding products, software solutions and IT services of Vietnamese enterprises. Especially, since 2016, the program also voted and recognized TOP 10 Sao Khue – a highlyighly prestigious title for 10 best products and services in the field of software and IT services in Vietnam.

In 2022, implementing the “Make in Vietnam” strategy of the Ministry of Information and Communications, with the pioneering role as the “Strike force in digital transformation”, Sao Khue will continue the mission of promoting and building brands for the industry of software and IT services, contributing to market orientation, helping users to choose the best software products and IT services. There would be an important shift in the program to meet the actual situation of the software and IT industry in Vietnam.

II. Benefits

The winner of the Sao Khue award will have a chance of:

1. Receiving Sao Khue Cup and Certificate of the Award in Sao Khue Announcement and Award 2022
2. Having the right to commercially exploit the Sao Khue logo associated with products and services that have been recognized with the titles in business and marketing activities, etc.

• To be introduced and attached with Sao Khue Award logo on Vietnam’s IT Directory at danhbaict.vn, the information portal on businesses, products, solutions and IT services of Vietnam.
• Getting special discounts when registering for business cooperation connection service on the website www.onlinematching.biz.
• To be introduced on the media sponsors of the program according to the needs of businesses with many attractive incentives.
5. Being introduced by VINASA to over 2,000 agencies, departments, ministries, branches, heads of provinces, cities and large corporations of Vietnam.
6. Being supported by VINASA to send direct recommendation letters to potential customers of those whose products / services / solutions achieve Sao Khue Award.
7. Reportage film on the awarded products will be introduced on VINASA’s Youtube and Fanpage
8. Getting priority and preferential treatment when giving speeches, participating in exhibitions and trade promotion at major events organized by VINASA throughout the year.
9. Enterprises with Sao Khue Award-winning products and services can give speeches, get connected and cooperated in a series of Seminars (including offline and online events) to introduce Sao Khue solutions to potential partners with preferential pricing.
10. Products, services and solutions winning the Sao Khue Award will be promoted at the Digital Transformation Framework for Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) and the Digital Transformation Framework for Manufacturing Enterprises chaired by VINASA (if appropriated)
11. Businesses with products and services won the Sao Khue Award will be able to participate in the Virtual Business Missions, introduce companies, connect and cooperate with partners in international markets (if appropriate)
12. Enterprises with products and services won the Sao Khue Award will be able to speak, connect and collaborate in a series of seminars (including live and online events) to introduce Sao Khue solutions to potential partners at a special preferential pricing.

III. Registration & Evaluation

Procedures for registering, evaluating, voting, recognizing and promoting on media for Sao Khue Awards include 6 stages:

1. Registration
2. Verification of data & prelimination of unqualified nominees
3. Presentation to the Board of Judges from enterprises with products, solutions and services participating in the program
4. Evaluation, voting for the Final Round and recognition of the products and services that have won the Award;
5. Sao Khue Announcement and Award Ceremony 2022 for the products and services awarded.
6. Introduction and promotion on media for the awarded products/solutions/services throughout the year

1. Register for the Award:

Step 1: Access: http://dangky.giaithuongsaokhue.vn/ ; Open an account;

Step 2: Provide information and submit documents as instructed.

2. Preliminary Selection and Presentation:

• Preliminary Selection: The Organizing Committee reviews the registration documents, requests updates and additional information if necessary. Select the products / solutions / services eligible for the Presentation round.
• Presentation round: Enterprises with products, solutions and services participating in the program will present to the judges. The Boards of Judges established by the Organizing Committee are prestigious experts from Ministry of Information and Communications, Ministry of Science and Technology, Ministry of Industry and Trade, senior experts in the industry, some relevant agencies and journalists. Each judging committee consists of 4-5 members.

Each nomination has a maximum of 25 minutes of presentation in front of the board according to the following time frame:

• 3 minutes: equipment setting up
• 10 minutes: presentation, demo
• 10 minutes: Q&A
• 2 minutes: equipment dismantling

The judges are responsible for evaluating the products and services in the presentation round according to the Program’s grading criteria and selecting the list of nominees for the final round.

3. Evaluation, voting for the Final Round and recognition of the products and services that have won the Award;

With a specific set of criteria, through the direct protection of the enterprise, through registration documents and customer contact (if any), and juding criteria, the Council unanimously will select the best and most qualified IT products, solutions and services to be awarded with Sao Khue 2022. • Sao Khue Award 2022 – rating 5 stars: Exclusively for top-notch products and services selected by the Boards of Judges among those that win Sao Khue Award 2022 in terms of socio-economic efficiency, brand reputation, revenue, market share, number of product’s users, innovative and breakthrough technologies, ….
• Top 10 Sao Khue Awards 2022: for 10 the products and services that are highly appreciated by the Council, that are among “Sao Khue Award 2022 – 5 Star”

4. Sao Khue Announcement and Awards Ceremony 2022:

Sao Khue Announcement and Awards 2022 with the participation of heads of ministerial-level agencies, heads of government-attached agencies, will be broadcast live and livestreamed on the Program’s multimedia channels.
