What is iTOURISM?

An online connection system that works on the principle of utilizing digital technology to build a centralized network environment that allows many participants to instantly provide services for organizations and individuals.The participants do not need to invest in, administer, operate, or maintain it on their own. It is very straightforward, convenient, flexible on demand, and simple to distribute. The digital platform is the "soft infrastructure" of the digital space, creating and storing user data while resolving particular issues with the digital transition. The more people and data there are, the less money it costs, and the more value is produced.

The development of a digital platform is a tournament way to hasten the process of digital transformation and create a digital society, economy, and government. The key is to embrace chances, create national digital platforms that are swiftly adopted, and cater to the distinct and particular demands of Vietnamese people by classifying and comprehending their needs according to their industry, profession, and field.

The DX.iToursim digital platform is a technology-based system that enables many entities to engage in the provision, collection, and use of tourism resources in accordance with the decentralized nature of the tourist industry.

A. The Fundamentals of the DX.iTourism Digital Platform

DX.iTourism is a Vietnam Tourism Resource Management System developed to promote the Digital Transformation of Vietnam's Tourism Industry.

The DX.iTourism platform is implemented with the goal of:

iTourism, the national digital platform for tourism, is being developed in accordance with Decision 381/QD-BTTTT, which approved the Plan to promote its development and use.

Syncing and unifying the database for the entire tourism sector. In addition, it enables linking numerous objects to share, gather, and exploit data in accordance with authorization's scope, benefiting users' management, business, research, etc.

Advancing the digital economy, government, and tourism, and closing digital gaps.

Detail goals

  • Digitizing data from the tourism sector, update information and digital data on tourism resources, businesses, tour operators, travelers, travel services, tourism events, information reports, and evaluations on a regular basis... direction of digital change;
  • Optimizing digital solutions to streamline processes and raise management standards at local tourism management organizations to reduce costs, time, and labor;
  • Forming a tourism resource center to improve the effectiveness of tourism promotion, communication and marketing activities;
  • Enhancing interaction and connection between state management agencies and associations, businesses and tourists in the area. Establishing national and international travel and tourism linkages, as well as local travel and tourism ecosystems;
  • Supporting for tourism businesses to implement business development strategies on digital platforms, optimize governance, transform business models, and create diverse and attractive new products and services. Making it simple for businesses to express their ideas and fulfill their commitments to the regional state management organization in charge of tourism and helping to create intelligent and open business environments.
  • Ensuring that travelers have a fantastic experience before, during, and after a trip. Department of Tourism

Department of Tourism is a specialized agency directly under the People's Committee, advising and assisting the People's Committee in performing the function of state management of tourism and performing tasks and powers according to the decentralization and authorization of the People's Committee, Chairman of the City People's Committee.

The DX.iTourism function system supports the Department of Tourism in organizing and performing the state management of tourism.

Travel Associations & Travel Clubs

The Tourism Association/Tourist Club is a voluntary non-governmental organization of Vietnamese businesses, economic organizations and citizens legally operating in the field of tourism.

Including: Membership management, Fee management, task management, project and event management activities according to global standards.

Travel and services businesses

The construction, sale, and implementation of tour packages for tourists are the key areas of focus for the unique sort of business known as the travel business.
