8:00 a.m.: Begin your Tra Que Village Tour with a scenic bike ride to a local farm—a great way to kickstart your day! Upon arrival, you'll receive an introduction to the historical background of the village. This short but informative lesson will cover the cultivation process and how these vegetables are used in traditional Vietnamese medicine.

After the introduction, it’s time to join the farmers! You'll tour the vegetable garden and assist in fertilizing and preparing the land using seaweed from the local lake. Other farming activities may include raking, sowing, picking greens, and more, depending on the day.

After enjoying your hands-on farming experience at Tra Que, you'll prepare authentic meals with a local family. Savor local specialties like Tam Huu (spring rolls) and Banh Xeo (Central Vietnam’s traditional pancake).

After your meal, depart for an exploration of Hoi An Ancient Town:

Once a major trading center in Southeast Asia during the 16th century, Hoi An flourished due to its early occupation by Western traders.

With your guide, walk to visit landmarks such as the Chinese Communal House, Tan Ky Merchants’ Houses, Japanese Covered Bridge, Hoi An Market, and more, while learning about the daily life of Hoi An's local people.
